I am amazed every time I visit the Mississippi Gulf Coast at how fantastic of a place it is. It is rich in beauty, culture, and friendly people. It offers a fun and relaxing environment for you to just lay back and enjoy all that life offers.
This July 4th weekend, we started off our Thursday night at the Silver Slipper Hotel and Casino. My husband and I were awe-struck by the sheer beauty of a place we visit pretty regularly. It was the first time we walked to their new pool area and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful views at the Beach Bar and Pool. We caught a fabulous sunset. The colors reflecting on the waters and the sky created a stunning and serene image. And, the sunset itself offered a brilliant and dramatic show. I felt the beauty around us. There were people sitting by the pool enjoying a cocktail , others were strolling along the beach while others were fishing on the jetting rocks.
The Slipper has done a lot to enrich its environment by adding a downstairs BBQ Bar and Grill and a full sidebar at its pool area. It is a place not to be missed. So make a point to stop by. Take a moment to stroll along the beach or perhaps bring your fishing pole. The setting was whispering to us,” to stop and enjoy these moments.”
